Complete cassava flour production process
The process of processing cassava into cassava flour is very simple. The complete cassava flour production process includes washing, crushing, dewatering, grinding, drying, sieving and packing of cassava raw materials.
Complete cassava flour production process
Washing
In the complete production process of cassava flour, cleaning is divided into two steps. First, use a dry sieve to remove impurities such as sand, pebbles, roots and leaves attached to the surface of the cassava raw material. Then use a paddle cleaning machine to further clean the surface of the cassava and peel the raw cassava. After these two washes, clean skinless cassava can be obtained.
Crushing
In order to fully crush the cassava raw materials and protect the machine, a cassava cutting machine and a rasper are used in the complete cassava flour production process. The cassava cutting machine first crushes the cassava into pieces to reduce the grinding pressure for the rasper. Then, the rasper more efficiently and fully grinds the cassava segments into cassava pulp.
Dewatering
Since cassava pulp contains a lot of water, it is necessary to use a plate-frame filter press or hydraulic dewatering machine to dewater the cassava pulp. If large-scale dehydration is required, the efficiency of using a plate-frame filter press will be higher. Hydraulic dewatering machine is more suitable for small-scale cassava flour production lines. After dehydration, cassava flour cake or cassava flour block can be obtained.

Grinding
In order to further control the moisture of the cassava flour, a hammer crusher should be used to grind the cassava flour cake or cassava flour block into cassava flour to facilitate subsequent drying of the cassava flour.
Drying
The dehydration capacity of cassava flour dewatering machine is limited, so in the complete cassava flour production process, it is necessary to use an flash dryer to further dry the cassava flour. The flash dryer is based on theoretical calculations to ensure the moisture content of the dried cassava flour. The moisture content of cassava flour is controlled more accurately and the speed of drying cassava flour is faster.

Sieving and packing
The dried cassava flour falls into the vibration sieve. The vibration sieve generates different centrifugal forces through horizontal, vertical and inclined three-dimensional motions to screen the cassava flour. The sieved finished cassava flour falls into the packaging machine, and the packaging machine automatically weighs and packs the cassava flour.
